Head Taker

There’s no irony behind Head Taker's title. Just a trail of graves a foot too short, and the testimony of sheriffs disturbed by the proof used to claim their bounties. Only one has survived his pursuit: a Turncoat traipsing the same sun-bleached meridian. Survived, so far.
